I completed a diploma in fine arts at Otago Polytechnic in 1982.Back in Auckland
I began handbuilding in clay.My work is organic. I enjoy making one off things that are quirky and fun. I use an earthenware white clay with oxides and coloured glazes.
I like to make wall pieces: fish,seahorses,whales,creatures and face masks.
I also make whacky egg cups,mugs,vases and imaginative ornaments.
